This chapter emphasizes that gone are the days when one would drink a disgusting tasting medicine because it was good for health. At present, one no longer has to suffer because most medicines actually taste good. When packaging is considered an essential element of marketing no one has jumped on the idea of using second life packaging as brand value. In a marketplace of so many ‘me too’ brands it would act as a differentiator. Over packaging and failure to design in reuse are major problems that manufacturers face. Many businesses have discovered that being more ethical saves them money; that reducing waste reduces costs; however, some have made a business from turning waste into new exciting objects. If a business entity is not changing with the times, it will be left behind and vanish.
