The cover picture shows the contribution of graphene nanosheets to electronic transmission. At the same time, it exhibits the titanium dioxide/cadmium sulfide heterojunction structure. Under solar radiation, electrons of titanium dioxide and cadmium sulfide are excited. Photoexcited electrons are transferred along the energy gradient driven by the electric field. The graphene network offers a “highway” for excited electrons by preventing them from recombining and significantly speeding up their transmission to the electrode. Details are discussed in the article by L. Zhang, L. Yin et al. on page 2281 ff (DOI: 10.1002/ejic.201601535).
