The γ‐procedure for calculation of partially composite beams consisting of flexibly jointed cross‐section with any number of sub‐elements: double‐symmetric cross‐sections
Partially composite beam cross‐sections consisting of any number of sub‐elements with a double‐symmetric structure exhibit antimetric normal stress distribution and symmetric shear stress distribution. The symmetry properties are exploited to develop simple formulas for determining the individual γ‐values in this paper. Formulas are given for double‐symmetric partially composite beam cross‐sections with up to nine sub‐elements.
