Eine der unabdingbaren Voraussetzungen tur die Eignung eines Modells zur Abbildung der Risiken des Versieherungsunternehmens ist die Fähigkeit, alle Risiken, die sich auf den Kapitalbedarf des Versieherungsunternehmens und damit auf die Ruinwahrscheinliehkeit auswirken, zu erfassen, damit darauf aufbauend in einem zweiten Schritt eine Modellierung dieser Risiken erfolgen kann. Diese Anforderung führte, wie bereits beschrieben, zur Nichteignung des in Deutschland derzeit gebräuchlichen kennzahlenbasierten Solvabilitätsmodells,417 aber auch zahlreicher standardisierter Solvabilitätsmodelle, da sie durch ihre Konzeption her nicht geeignet sind, alle wesentlichen unternehmensindividuellen Risiken zu erfassen.418 Die Herausforderung ist die Entwicklung einer Vorgehensweise, die zur Identifizierung und konkreten Formulierung aller wesentlichen Risiken fuhrt, die einerseits vollständig, aktuell und unternehmensindividuell ist, andererseits aber noch zeitnah419 modelliert werden kann.
