Career coaching as a crisis intervention
The report describes the career coaching of a young professional that is in a conflictual work situation and her boss is forced to decide about the next career steps. The objectives of this coaching are to analyse the work situation, to agree in a common understanding about the dimensions of the stress situation and the level of performance as well as to develop more job alternatives with the client. The practicability and compatibility with the personal and professional goals should be checked in order to balance the professional and private live. The coaching methods were the analysis of the current situation, the reflection and description of drawings and an exploration of the future. The results of the coaching were used to create a catalogue of measures.
