In this paper, a distributed event-triggered control strategy is proposed such that consensus of multi-agent systems is achieved subject to input saturation in an output feedback setting. Instead of triggering the controller periodically, the proposed controller is not activated until the response of the system exceeds some pre-defined event-triggered limitation. The case of the output feedback is...
In this paper, a coordinated tracking problem for coupled nonholonomic mobile robots is considered. An event-triggered control strategy is proposed to guarantee that the robots can form a prespecified geometric pattern while the centroid of the geometric pattern can track a reference signal. The stability of the system is proved with the aid of Lyapunov techniques. Finally, a simulation example is...
A coverage control problem for continuous-time multi-agent systems under an event-triggered control framework is considered in this paper. The discrete-time coverage control algorithms reported in [1] is first extended for the continuous-time systems. Unlike the proof technique used in [1], the convergence of the continuous algorithm is proved under a Lyapunov framework. A Lyapunov function has been...
This paper proposes a novel event-triggered algorithm based on a contract robust control invariant set trajectory for robust constrained model predictive control system. The trigger condition relies on the relationship between the sets where two continuous state vectors lie in. Feasibility of the algorithm and stability of the system are derived utilizing the invariant set theory. Simulation shows...
This paper investigates the problem to design the adaptive model-based event-triggered control for linear systems. To deal with the parameter differences between the plant and the model, an adaptation mechanism is introduced to the model-based event-triggered control systems. Based on the separation property of model-based event-triggered control, the problem is divided into two independent parts,...
Networked control systems(NCSs) are facing a great challenge from the limitation of network communication resources. Event-triggered control (ETC) is often used to reduce the amount of communications while still keeping a satisfactory performance of the system, by transmitting the state measurements only when an event-triggered condition is met. However, some network-induced problems would happen...
This work presents an event-triggered consensus algorithm for multi-agent systems with periodic sampling schemes. Combinational measurement error is employed to reduce the number of events. It is noted that by introducing the periodic sampling scheme, Zeno behaviors can be naturally avoided in both algorithms. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms are illustrated by simulation examples.
This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem of multi-agent systems with general linear dynamics. We first propose a novel event-triggered control scheme to solve the problem. It is shown that the leader-following consensus of the controlled multi-agent system can be achieved asymptotically. The feasibility of the proposed control scheme is further verified by excluding Zeno behavior...
