In the Wind Power Market, Recentry for to improve for performance of Wind Turbine, Permanent Magnet Type Synchronous Generator is used in there, especially the fractional slot winding is extremely effective.
This paper proposes photovoltaic (PV) cell booster which amplifies voltage and current in small-size PV cell. The booster simulates large-size PV cell with a flyback converter and a control circuit including variable current source. Principle of proposed PV cell booster is described at first. Prototype of the booster is built and tested to confirm the effectiveness of the PV cell booster.
Sodium borohydride (NaBH4) is attractive as fuel for fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle (FCHEV) because of its high energy density. The authors have proposed and made a hydrogen generation system which uses sodium borohydride as fuel before now. However, as for this system, there has been a problem in the velocity of hydrogen generation under low-temperature water environment. This paper examined citric...
In this paper, modeling and simulation of a 500 KW prototype wind turbine that is being developed in the context of the MILRES (National Wind Energy Systems) Project in Turkey are presented. This prototype wind turbine has a nominal power of 500 KW at a nominal wind speed of around 11 m/s. Aerodynamic, mechanical, electrical and control models are built in S4WT (Samcef for Wind Turbines) environment...
The extraction of energy from ocean waves has been investigated in Europe since the 1970s. Several devices have been proposed and a few of them have been built full scale and deployed to the ocean. Actually there is not a kind of device that is accepted as the most suitable to exploit wave power.
