Presented in this paper is the technique of people detection using microwave imaging system with ring aperture. The essence of the technique is extracting heartbeat and breath signals from the time sequence of reconstructed images. The modeling conducted proved the efficiency of this technique.
This paper concerns the features of the use of dielectric rods in the form of a truncated cone in the mechanical frequency tuning of rectangular cavities for EPR spectrometers. It is shown that this frequency tuning method offers a far wider linear range of microwave cavity frequency tuning.
