Some p-type and n-type ZITO transparent and conductive films of 300 nm thickness, have been deposited by vacuum thermal evaporation and oxidation in air on different substrates. The electrical and optical properties of the thin films have been studied as a function of chemical composition, substrate nature and annealing conditions. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used in order...
Dielectric and conduction properties of polyimides were evaluated on the basis of dielectric constant, dielectric loss, electric modulus and AC conductivity, and their variation with frequency and temperature. Polyimide films exhibited good insulating properties with dielectric constants values in the range of 2.78–3.48 and dielectric loss comprised between 0.01 and 0.03 at 1Hz at room temperature.
Electrical conductivity and the Hall-effect are investigated in the temperature interval (80–400) K on thermally annealed in H2 CdS thin films obtained by chemical bath deposition. Different characters of the temperature dependence of conductibility are observed in the CdS films annealed at different temperatures. The Hall measurements allow calculating the values of the NA, ND, nex and ED. According...
Gallium doped zinc oxide, GZO, thin films have been deposited onto glass substrate by RF magnetron sputtering at various substrate temperatures. The electrical and optical properties of the thin films have been studied as a function of substrate temperature. X-ray diffraction was used in order to investigate thin film structures. The thin film structure was stabilised by heating the samples in air...
In this work a single ZnN sputtering target was used to fabricate n-and p-type transparent films, namely: (a) n-ZnN thin films in pure Ar plasma and (b) p-ZnO:N films in Ar-O2 plasma. The structural, optical and electrical properties of the films were investigated. Zinc nitride films deposited in pure Ar were n-type, with low resistivity. Films deposited in more than 40% O2 in plasma were p-type ZnO...
Single-crystalline nanoparticles and rod-shaped lead telluride microparticles were obtained using solvothermal synthesis. It is shown that the reaction temperature, time of the synthesis, and precursor molar ratio make it possible to tune the shape and size of nanocrystals. X-Ray powder diffraction with transmission electron microscopy was used to confirm the crystallinity and morphology of nanoparticles...
