Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are designed for supporting applications in long-term deployments. However, the researchers have recently explored many new WSN systems. To address the issue of noise presence in real time scenarios, a noise-measuring system based on WSN is presented in this paper. It can be used to collect data at unattended measuring-points, and transmit it to the data center. After processing, it will be able to get the results of noise as well. Experimental results show that testing of this system reflects the real situation of noise test area, where we plotted mean value and standard deviation graphs for analysis. Testing was conducted for a span of six days having dB as the unit. The design can be widely used in applications that need to control noise monitor or noise pollution in a specified period of time.
