The wireless sensor networks have had lots of popular applications for years. Limited energy is an important issue in Wireless Sensor Networks because the efficiency of a deployed sensor network is subject to the energy supported. Recently, wireless rechargeable sensor networks emerge some technical breakthroughs. Using static sensors, most of exist studies are applying in the entire rechargeable area. When the rechargeable area is the partial of entire environment, exploiting the rechargeable area to improve the efficiency of sensors and prolong the monitoring lifetime of environment are great challenges. In these years, scientists pay much attention to energy transmission technologies. In this paper, we propose a distributed cooperative mechanism that energy can be transmitted from partial energy supplying zone to other regions in the network environment. Our results show that the monitoring lifetime prolongs at least 20% using our mechanism when the recharging zone supplies 4 J in each second. We also derive the ratio of recharging zone to the entire monitoring area for prolonging monitoring lifetime. The mechanism considers both energy transmitting neighbors and the transmitting amount of energy for each neighbor. The results of experiments and simulations represent that the efficiency of recharging and the monitoring lifetime of environment are improved using our mechanism.
