Nowadays, the popularity of e-learning systems is growing fast. It is allowed to follow the development web and multimedia technologies. Web-based education became wide spread in the past few years. Various types of learning management systems (LMS) facilitate the development of Web-based courses. The quality of LMS is an important feature that helps ensure a good service. The quality of systems has not been analyzed in detail, therefore it is necessary to create rules to govern their operation and development. In such a learning model learners, educators and educational organizations need smarter tools to face the problem of continuous feedback of the educational process in order to offer a learning environment capable to increase the learning effectiveness of the new mode of learning as well as the efficient organization of the institutional resources. The paper deals with the evaluation of e-learning course with usage analysis and survey sampling. The obtained data, both from the questionnaire and mainly from the adjusted log files of e-courses, were used for finding out certain rules of behaviour of course participants, using usage analysis.
