Considering networked control system (NCS) with uncertain networked-induced delay and data packet dropout, a sufficient condition for NCS tracking controller is derived. It is expressed as the solvability problem of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to construct a state-feedback controller, which guarantees that output of the closed-loop networked control system tracks the reference input asymptotically. An illustrative example based on networked motor control system is presented to show effectiveness of the proposed NCS tracking controller design.
