The following paper describes a distributed application for collecting data from mobile devices. The solution is collecting data through mobile device PDA and then sending them to central server accumulating and processing data. An example of such a system is an application that collects data from GPS receivers located in cars. The authors based their solution on that type of a system. The programs were written with the use of the C# language and .NET Framework platform version 1.1 as well as the mobile version NET Compact Framework 1.0. The result of the presented work is an advanced system that fulfils commercial standards
