This book provides explanations of the essential concepts involved in the analysis of geological data, together with descriptions and examples of the most important techniques. There are eight chapters, as follows: data collection and preparation; statistics with one variable; statistics with two variables; non-parametric stratistics; directional data and circular statistics; data through time; geographically distributed data; and multivariate methods.
