Przedstawiono przypadek niemowlęcia płci żeńskiej z powstałą de novo częściową trisomią długiego ramienia chromosomu 6 (6q24→qter). Stwierdzone u dziecka wady: małogłowie, spłaszczona potylica, szeroki rozstaw źrenic, skośne ustawienie szpar powiekowych do dołu, łukowate wygięcie do dołu wargi górnej z obniżeniem kącików ust, małożuchwie, szeroka płetwiasta szyja, szeroko rozstawione brodawki sutkowe, opóźnienie tempa wzrastania, odpowiadają cechom opisywanych w literaturze przypadków występowania rearanżacji z zaangażowaniem dystalnego fragmentu długiego ramienia chromosomu 6. W wykonanych badaniach obrazowych stwierdzono występowanie u probanta także wady serca. Fenotyp dziecka odpowiada zespołowi częściowej trisomii 6q2, co zostało potwierdzone badaniami cytogenetycznym i molekularnym.
We report a case of a female infant with de novo partial trisomy of the long arm of chromosome 6 (6q24→qter). The clinical features, including: microcephaly, flat occiput, hypertelorism, downslanting palpebral fissures slanted downward, thin upper lip with downturned corners, micrognathia, short and wide neck, widely spaced nipples, growth retardation, correspond to previously presented cases with translocation of a long arm of chromosome 6. In addition, cardiac anomalies detected by ultrasound are described. The phenotype of this infant is characteristic of a partial 6q2 trisomy syndrome, which was confirmed by cytogenetic and molecular studies.
