The article presents the results of analysis concerning production and economic situation of tenants running large-scale farms. It was based on own researches conducted by the authors on the sample of 2.7% of the total population of tenants in Poland. The resources of basic production factors, organization of production process as well as production and financial results of the farms run by tenants in the period of 2001-2004 were investigated. The results of the analysis allowed to study the impact of integration with the EU on both conditions for managing farms by tenants and adjustment activities to new market situation conducted by them.
