THE 'BIG' VERBAL ENTRIES IN MONOLINGUAL DICTIONARY (OR HOW HAVE THE VERBS IST AND CHODIT BEEN PROCESSED) ('Velke' slovesne hesla vo vykladovom slovniku (alebo ako sa koncipovali slovesa ist' a chodi'))
The paper deals with some problems of lexicographical processing of two Slovak verbs ist', chodit', in the second volume of a monolingual Dictionary of Contemporary Slovak Language. It deals with their grammatical characteristic (grammatical variants, verbal aspect), valency structure and semantic characteristic. The both verbs are polysemic and polyvalency, they have semantic symmetry in special means (ist'/chodit' do skoly; hodiny na vezi idu/chodia presne) and differ by semantic components of recurrence and multi-direction (determinative - indeterminative verbs), in other cases they are mutually asymmetric (e. g. chodit' s niekym =/ ist' s niekym; chodnik ide cez les - *chodnik chodi cez les).
