A tractable method of solving zero-sum games defined on a product of staircase-function finite spaces is presented. The method is based on stacking solutions of “smaller” matrix games, each defined on an interval where the pure strategy value is constant. The stack is always possible, even when only time is discrete, so the set of pure strategy possible values can be continuous. Any combination of...
Let R be a prime ring with multiplicative (generalized)- derivations (F, f) and (G, g) on R. This paper gives a number of central valued algebraic identities involving F and G that are equivalent to the commutativity of R under some suitable assumptions. Moreover, in order to optimize our results, we show that the assumptions taken cannot be relaxed.
The relationship between the classical order and type of an entire harmonic function in space Rn, n≥3, and the rate of its best harmonic polynomial approximation for some Banach spaces of functions harmonic in the ball of radius R has been studied.
