W pracy przedstawiono wyniki prac, nad zastosowaniem sterowanego eliminatora drgań w podnoszeniu wibrostabilności systemu O-PS. W wyniku badań identyfikacyjnych opracowano jego model symulacyjny w środowisku Matlab/Simulink, uwzględniający właściwości układu MDS oraz procesu skrawania. W pracy zawarto ocenę skuteczności zaproponowanej strategii sterowania zmianami zastępczej sztywności zastosowanego sterowanego eliminatora drgań w zwiększeniu wibrostabilności systemu O-PS.
There is a lot of known practical methods of counteracting chatter in dynamic MT-CP (machine tool - cutting process) system. One of them is a method, which is based on assumption, that it is possible to shape the vibrostability of MT-CP system by the addition of structural active substructures [5,11]. The paper presents results of investigations, that are the continuation of work on the effectiveness of applying tunable damper to reducing chatter in MT-CP system. Considered damper, added to primary structure of MDS (mass-damping-spring) system use the force, generated by electromagnetic device which is a integral part of damper, to change it's stiffness. This approach assures proper damper tuning to present frequency of vibrations. Conducted, preliminary simulations and experimental results proved that thesis. Primary aim of the presented paper was to work out a reliable model of MT-CP system, which takes into consideration properties of cutting process and dynamic behavior of the electromagnetic device. Presented model had to allow the synthesis of control algorithm. Secondary aim was estimation of efficiency of chosen strategies of control of changeable stiffness of damper, by computer simulations. The identification experiments were conducted and the FRF's of chosen elements of MDS system were obtained. Electrical parameters and static characteristic of electromagnetic device are obtained. Results of these investigations were the base to built up a reliable simulation model in Matlab/Simulink notation. This model and formulated criterion of estimation was used for the analysis of proposed algorithms of control. Obtained results can be useful to draw up the guidelines of project of practical control system.
