Small and medium-sized enterprises as a rule finance current operation from their own capital. In case proprietor's equity does not satisfy all enterprise needs, entrepreneurs use external sources. Among the most popular forms of external financing in Poland there are: bank credits, leasing, and the EU funds. Other financing forms such as factoring, franchising, venture capital, or forfaiting are less common on Polish market.
