The main goal of the article is to present and discuss some theoretical and empirical research findings on personnel strategies for managing executive staff in international corporations operating in Poland. The paper presents an original concept for a hierarchical model that is the resultant of personnel strategies of international corporations based on theoretical studies. Since this concept was also used in the empirical research, the main conclusions covered in the final part of the article refer to the mentioned model as well.
