The main focus of the article is to present certain aspects of the communitarian movement's program against the background of the philosophical anthropology of Charles Taylor. Part of the introduction clarifies some terminological issues concerning the name 'communitarian' in Polish and in general. It emphasizes the distinction between the communitarian as applied to the communitarian movement and to certain philosophers. Afterwards it introduces the Responsive Communitarian Platform which constitutes kind of communitarian manifesto.
