Recent empirical attempts to identify the semantic spaces of various creative productions like music, movies, and paintings are reported. Comparison of the elucidated spaces, by means of factor analysis, shows a great deal of invariance. This suggests, in accordance with the cognitive psychology theories, that these spaces could be interpreted as mental categories that serve people to recognize, to understand, and to interpret creative productions. .
