Management is a sub-system of the military organisation. Its operational efficiency will decide to what extent are conflicts resolved in the military structure and how supportive is the personnel to the reform. The previous military reforms seemed unsuccessful and this proves that it is necessary to determine the direction of transformation unambigously and to create a dynamic structural model of transformation. The author in his article draws attention to the need for changing the culture of management - based on the requirement of military reform - uses new methods and technologies.
