In this review of Vojtěch Kolman’s book Philosophy of number, Jiří Fiala concluded that the book is not interesting to mathematicians (as everything that the book contains in the way of mathematics is well known to them) or to philosophers (as it does not address substantial philosophical issues). In my contribution I point out that both these claims are utterly unsubstantiated.
