Using archive data and literature sources, this article shows a group of Polish activists in the 'Siedmiorzecze' - region of Kazakhhstan. It includes personal data of Polish insurgents from 1863, Poles serving in the army, professionals like doctors, engineers and technicians. Some of their descendants also participated in public life in 20th century. The article presents the following civil and military engineers: P. Peremyszlski, Gumnicki, Soltanowski, I. Guminski, Belewicz, S. Kiszenski; chemists: Klimentowski, I.E. Senczukowski, S. Debniewski; teachers: L. Strekalowski, N.P. Korolinski, F.W. Przezowski, M.A. Boncz-Osmolowska, K.F. Swierczewski; and representants of other trades: W.P. Bialkowski, W.A. Monastyrski, A.S. Wialkowski, W.P. Samarin, E.S. Wojciechowski, W.E. Niedzwiecki, A.A. Kukolewski, L.G. Ignatowicz, S.S. Wiszniewski, R.I. Metelicyn, K.R. Koczarowski, M.A. Bogusiewicz, I.J. Cybulski, N.I. Nickiewicz, P.W. Iwaszkiewicz.
