Current digital watermarking methods based on the discrete wavelet transform use orthogonal wavelet kernels. In this paper, we discuss the use of morphological wavelets, which are a class of non-linear wavelets, in digital watermarking for scalable coded images. Three different scenarios for embedding the watermark, namely, 1) embedding only in the low pass subband (low-low), 2) embedding only in...
Mobile Ad hoc networks are self-organizing and self-configuring multi hop wireless networks where, the structure of the network changes dynamically. Since a destination node might be out of range of a source node, a routing procedure is always needed to find a path, so as to forward the packets appropriately between the source and the destination. This paper proposes a new approach to evolve a suitable...
The effect of quantization based compression in quality scalable image coding on the robustness of wavelet based watermarking is presented. The non-blind direct modification type watermarking is considered for the analysis presented in this paper. First we present the analysis considering any quantization parameter and then restrict it to the integer powers of two to model the bit-plane discarding...
Watermarks embedded in scalable coded media have to be robust to content adaptation (CA) to address network, display and usage requirements. A modularised flexible formal framework as a watermark evaluation bench for content adaptation modes (WEBCAM) is presented. WEBCAM-phase 1 allows evaluation of the effect of various design parameters in wavelet-based watermarking on robustness to CA.
