The traditional X-ray CT measurement takes long time to construct scanning image, because X-ray sources and detectors are revolved around objects to get over 180 projection data for reconstructing an inner structures image of objects. For this reason, X-ray CT scan system has been hardly used in high throughput fields. In this paper, we proposed new method to reduce scanning time by using vertical...
Thermionic emission properties of long spun carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers were studied. The CNT fibers were fabricated from CNT webs which are two dimensional CNT network drawn from CNT arrays. Electrical resistivity of the CNT fibers is ~1×10-3 Ωcm. From the thermionic emission experiments, work function of our CNT was estimated as 4.66 eV.
In this presentation, a facile method has been developed to produce large quantities of ZnO nanocrystals with hexagonal shape. In the presence of sodium bis (2-ethylexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) emulsions as a structure-direct agent, the reaction of hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) in Zn2+ aqueous solution forms ZnO phosphors. Second, both micro-sized and nano-sized platelet-like ZnO nanocrystals have been...
