A two-element antenna array with a 1/40-wavelength interval is proposed, and analysed using the method of moments (MoM). Based on the time reversal (TR) technique, the two antenna elements can work simultaneously with little interference when metal-wire resonators are loaded controllably. It shows that the resonators can be used to design multi-frequency sub-wavelength antenna arrays efficiently.
Planar resonant lenses (PRLs) consisting of periodically distributed strip resonators with different lengths are proposed for far-field super-resolution electromagnetic imaging. With the help of PRLs, evanescent waves can be converted into propagation waves. So, based on time-reversal (TR) technique, time-reversal mirror in the far-field can receive the electromagnetic signals carrying the subwavelength...
Enabled by the heterogeneous integration in modern System-On-Chips (SOCs), the design automation for analog and mixed signal circuit components in SOCs is attracting increasing interests. Matching constraints for specific analog signals are critical for correct functionalities. This paper presents a novel single-layer detailed routing algorithm with the length matching constraint, called LEMAR. LEMAR...
In analog and mixed signal designs, exact matching requirement is critical for correct functionality of analog devices. However, due to the excessive complexity, it is difficult to consider exact matching constraint in detailed routing stage. This paper presents a novel gridless detailed routing algorithm, which efficiently obtains the optimized detailed routing solutions for a given set of nets with...
Analog signals are more sensitive to crosstalk than digital signals, resulting in instability of analog circuits. To eliminate coupling, it is common practice to insert shielding wires on one or both sides of critical signals. In this paper, a novel analog circuit shielding routing algorithm based on net classification is proposed. Circuit performance requirements are transformed into geometric properties...
