Tomographic imaging of fluidized bed reactor is of great interest in pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. A special application is the detection of granule moisture distribution inside the reactor. In this paper we consider electrical capacitance tomography to be used in in-line imaging of conical shaped fluidized bed reactor. Results of determining the granule moisture distribution are shown.
In this paper we perform an experimental evaluation of a state estimation approach in process tomography. In particular, we concentrate on the case where a system with rapidly moving target is imaged with electrical impedance tomography.
