The primary objective of this paper is to develop a new robust design (RD) optimization procedure based on a lexicographical dynamic goal programming (LDGP) approach for implementing time-series based multi-responses, while the conventional experimental design formats and frameworks may implement static responses. First, a parameter estimation method for time-dependent pharmaceutical responses (i...
Inverse Problem (IP) has been played an essential role in development of modern science and engineering in last several decades. This study performs a comparison between Inverse Problem (IP) and ordinary least squares (OLS) based estimation methods applied on solving robust design (RD) problem by simulation. The results suggest that IP can be a potential alternative to OLS as an estimation tool when...
The aim of this paper is to show the potential of neural network (NN) approach in robust design (RD) procedure. In practice, sometime the conventional estimation method which used in RD does not work well because of many factors. A comparative study illustrates that NN-based RD can handle those situations. The power of NN can give much better results compare to conventional one.
