This paper describes a novel scheme for a high resolution phase comparator and its applications. The phase resolution of traditional universal counter, using zero-crossing technique to count measurand, is about 1×10−4 Hz. The proposed scheme utilities fast analog-to-digital sampler (ADS) to detect sinusoidal signal from device under test and its analyzed resolution could reach 1× 10−6 Hz. This novel...
Two-way satellite time and frequency transfer is a precise time transfer method and has being used to generate the TAI since 1999. Nowadays, TWSTFT links have formed a worldwide network and the utilization of the highly redundant TWSTFT data become an important topic. In our pervious study, a feasible method has been proposed, with full time transfer network data, to improve the results of TWSTFT...
This paper describes how to eliminate the diurnal variations caused by the satellite motion in the Two-Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer (TWSTFT) data. Through the analysis of the NICT-TL link, we demonstrate that a precise Sagnac correction is useful to improve the TWSTFT data. The time deviation (TDEV) at an 8-hour averaging time is reduced from 159 ps to 73 ps after the correction.
This paper proposed a new scheme to generate a real-time paper time scale by utilizing the ensemble clock data and the two-way satellite time and frequency transfer (TWSTFT) data among the laboratories in the Asia-Pacific region. By integrating above data, with specific weighting methodology and using fuzzy prediction, this research can form a reference time scale to analyze the time difference with...
The two-way satellite time and frequency transfer (TWSTFT) is a precise time transfer technique and has being used to generate the TAI since 1999. Nowadays, TWSTFT links have formed a worldwide network and the large amount of TWSTFT data become highly redundant. To fully utilize the data of TWSTFT network and improve the TWSTFT results, a feasible method of processing data is proposed in this paper...
