In the experimental study a periodic dielectric loaded structure is used as the high-frequency structure of the W-band Gyro-TWT. The experimental measurement is carried out when the accelerating voltage is 63kV and the electron beam current is 6A. A peak output power of 120 kW, 3dB bandwidth of 6 GHz are obtained.
This paper presents a high squint imaging method for frequency-modulation continuous-wave (FMCW) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) with high speed. In high squint operation mode for FMCW SAR a quadratic phase error (QPE) is induced by the high speed and the high squint angle, which effects the focusing of range profile. Firstly the received signal expression in the wave number domain is deduced, and...
We propose phase switching for either main-carrier or subcarriers of two consecutive signal blocks to achieve fading-free double-sideband direct-detection (DD). In our demonstration, 40-Gb/s DD-OOFDM is successfully received over 80-km SSMF with single polarization and single detector.
Cognitive radio (CR) is a revolutionary technology of wireless mobile communication. Smart users can use the CR technology to sense the surrounding environment, search for available spectrum resources and access spectrum dynamically. Differential frequency hopping (DFH) was believed to be an effective FH technique for increasing data rate of HF communication system. The cognitive radio technology...
Cognitive radio (CR) is a revolutionary technology of wireless mobile communication. Smart users can use the CR technology to sense the surrounding environment, search for available spectrum resources and access spectrum dynamically. Therefore, the efficiency of spectrum can be improved and the capacity of wireless communication system will be increased. The cognitive radio technology is introduced...
