In this paper there is a discussion about of a dual-mode ring resonator on microstrip technology for design of microwave filter with appropriate characteristics to wireless communication systems. The proposed structure was analyzed using the FDTD method. The comparison between the simulation results and characterization of the device demonstrates that the objectives were reached.
