In this paper the influence of different temporal basis functions (a triangular, exponential, and cosine square function) on the stability of solution is investigated. It is shown that a temporal basis function which has poor high frequency content doesn't have to guarantee more stable solution than the one with rich high frequency content. The investigation is done on the analysis of wire structures.
