The presented study, the influence of the split ratio in 12 slot-14 pole permanent magnet motor with interior rotor on the efficiency and torque capabi!ity over a wide-speed range is presented. Results for two motors with the same outer stator diameter and different split ratio are presented in order to demonstrate the influence of split ratio on the motor efficiency and torque capability.
