Anisotropic g-values and 1.590 THz antiferromagnetic gap of multiferroic material CuO has been observed for the first time using the advantages of THz high field ESR. Especially antiferromagnetic resonance measurements have been performed at 4.2 K for three principal axes up to 1.852 THz and 40 T, and the magnetic anisotropy of CuO will be discussed.
Ultrabroadband visible noncollinear optical parametric amplification (NOPA) was achieved in a biaxial crystal. The amplified pulse has a spectral width of 200 nm with energy of 0.21 uJ in a 1 mm thick LBO crystal.
Tunable multicolor femtosecond pulses were simultaneously obtained by a cascaded FWM process in fused silica glass. Frequency up-shift and down-shift pulses with energies about 1 muJ, durations of 45 fs sidebands were obtained.
