A variety of 3-iodoindole and 3-iodobenzo[b]furan derivatives were conveniently prepared from the corresponding 2-alkynylanilines and 2-alkynylphenols through Ph3P-catalyzed iodocyclization in the presence of N-iodosuccinimide (NIS). This protocol provides a rapid access to 3-iodoindoles and 3-iodobenzo[b]furans in good to excellent yields under mild conditions.
An efficient and facile approach to synthesize imidazoles from amidines and arylketone via oxidative coupling of sp 3 C–H bond and N–H bond is reported. This strategy exhibits high performance in terms of regioselectivity with moderate to high yields by using easily available materials, and provides an alternative method to synthesize multi-substituted imidazole skeletons.
This work reported that Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of arylboronic acid with aryl bromide or iodides were mediated by Pd(OAc) 2 and 4-(benzylthio)-N,N,N-trimethylbenzenammonium chloride in the presence of Na 2 CO 3 in water under the mild conditions. The corresponding Suzuki–Miyaura coupling products were obtained in good to excellent yields.
An efficient method of ligand-free Cu-catalyzed oxidative decarboxylative homocoupling of aryl propiolic acids was developed. When CuI was employed as the catalyst and I2 as the oxidant, the decarboxylative homocoupling reaction for Csp–Csp bond formation in DMSO underwent smoothly to afford the corresponding 1,4-disubstituted 1,3-dialkynes in good to excellent yields without any organic ligands....
New polystyrene-bound perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acids and their ytterbium salts have been prepared. Multicomponent reactions (MCRs) for the efficient synthesis of homoallylic amines or amides catalyzed by the polystyrene-bound perfluoroalkyl sulfonic ytterbium salts are reported.
