We demonstrate high harmonic generation at 2.4 MHz from the compressed output of a thin-disk oscillator, obtaining >5×107 photons/s (19th harmonic). Additionally, we investigate phase matching conditions towards higher XUV photon flux.
We present sub-100-fs external pulse compression and noise characterization from ultrafast multi-100-W thin disk lasers using gas-filled-Kagome-type HC-PCFs. We demonstrate high compression efficiency and excellent phase and amplitude low-noise properties.
SESAM modelocked thin-disk lasers have recently reached new frontiers and remain the leading technology in terms of average power and pulse energy, setting new performance levels for ultrafast oscillators. The milestones achieved seem to indicate that there are no major roadblocks ahead to achieve further scaling of modelocked oscillators to kilowatt output powers and millijoule output pulse energies...
We present the shortest pulses of any modelocked thin disk laser (TDL): a SESAM modelocked Yb:CALGO TDL generates 62-fs pulse duration at 5.1 W average power and we present new noise characterization.
We present the first phase stabilization of the carrier-envelope-offset frequency of a SESAM-modelocked thin disk laser (<120 mrad at 1 Hz–1 MHz) and measure the influence of different noise sources such as multi-transverse-mode high-power diode-pumping.
