An account of the Anthicidae (ant-like flower beetles) of New Caledonia is presented for the first time. Anthicus crinitus is recorded in the Polish Baltic coast. This species is cosmopolitan, although it has not been reported from Poland or the whole Baltic Region. The locality is the northernmost in its European range. A revised check-list of Anthicidae recorded from Poland is given.
