The titanium substrates are bombarded with 1 x 10 ¹ ⁶ -1 x 10 ¹ ⁸ Pd ⁺ /cm ² at an energy of 40 keV. The palladium-implanted electrodes are studied with respect to their electrocatalytic properties for the hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions in 30% KOH solution. The surface compositions of implanted electrodes are discussed based on AES and XPS data.
