This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic wave scattering by multilayered periodic structure composed of cylindrical posts which constitutes a two-dimensional (2-D) electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structure. The presented procedure combines several efficient numerical techniques, such as the iterative scattering procedure (ISP), the orthogonal expansion method, the T-matrix approach and the...
The method of analysis of electromagnetic wave scattering from structures containing complex metallized cylindrical objects is developed. The boundary problem of the object is analyzed using an iterative scattering procedure and the orthogonal expansion method. The obtained mathematical model of scattering is utilized to examine close and open problems, and the examples of their applications are presented...
This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic wave scattering by cylindrical objects located arbitrarily in a circular cavity. The exact full-wave theory based on the mode-matching method is applied to analyze the structures. The resonance frequencies of the investigated resonators are accurately determined. The validity and accuracy of the approach are verified by comparing the results with...
This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic field scattering by a set of cylindrical objects made of pseudochiral material located in rectangular waveguide junctions and free space. Presented approach is based on the Iterative Scattering Procedure (ISP) and the orthogonal expansion method. Several numerical examples for open and closed problems were presented.
