This paper presents a circularly polarized antenna based on new electromagnetic band-gap material antenna approach called pixel. The pixel concept was published in many papers concerning the agile radiating matrix antenna. In this paper we study the pixel generating circularly polarized field. This study will be the main step to introduce agility in beam forming of the matrix antenna for the space applications. Also a comparison between the pixel and patch antenna is done.
